Hooper, CFO Patronis, and other leaders share new data about the need for Hometown Hero Housing Program TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Hometown Hero Housing Program (SB 788) is critically necessary to help first responders, law enforcement, educators, and health care workers receive the assistance they need to have the opportunity to own a home in the communities where they work. Bill sponsor Sen. Ed Hooper, CFO Jimmy Patronis, Florida Realtors President Christina Pappas, and a number of other supportive organizations and association leaders will hold a press conference on Wednesday, February 9 at 8:45am to highlight the need to address the affordable housing crisis and release a data analysis that shows the income gap for many of these hometown heroes.
